Artes is a Dreamwidth-based TCG focusing on the Tales of series by Namco. The TCG was created by Caitie and features decks solely from the aformentioned series.
As of January 2015, the TCG has not been updated since September 2014.

Cards[]
There are two types of cards at Artes: Regular and Special.
Normal Decks[]
Normal cards are worth 1 and have 25 cards per deck. These are character decks, and there is always a puzzle in the middle.
Special Decks[]
Special decks are worth 1 and have 16 cards per deck. They usually feature a theme, the openings of various games, locations of various games, or a relationship between two characters. There are also member donated special decks (under these categories) as well. You can tell these apart from character cards by the little sheild near the bottom left of the card.
Member Cards[]
Member cards are worth 0 and cannot be traded between players. (They are used for trading buddies on your trade post.)
Leveling[]
Currently, there are only 10 levels for Artes.
- Level 01: 001 - 100 Cards
- Level 02: 101 - 200 Cards
- Level 03: 201 - 300 Cards
- Level 04: 301 - 400 Cards
- Level 05: 401 - 500 Cards
- Level 06: 501 - 600 Cards
- <Level 07: 601 - 700 Cards
- Level 08: 701 - 800 Cards
- Level 09: 801 - 900 Cards
- Level 10: 901 - 1000 Cards
Mastering Decks[]
When a player has collected all 25 cards in a regular deck or all 16 cards in a special deck, they obtain the master card which is displayed on their profile. Mastered cards cannot be traded off.
Currency[]
The form of currency used here at Artes is gels. Each gel has a different value, and is part of a different bundle, both of which are listed out below.
- Bundle 01: 2 random cards (Apple gel)
- Bundle 02: 4 random cards (Lemon gel)
- Bundle 03: 1 choice card (Orange gel)
- Bundle 04: 2 choice cards (Pineapple gel)
- Bundle 05: 2 random cards and 1 choice card (Melange gel)
- Bundle 06: 4 random cards and 2 choice cards (Miracle gel)
