  • It's amazing what you've created here! I just wanted to say, this was super awesome of you. It made my sister happy to see her TCG's here- Chakra and INN (It's Not Noise). We couldn't even remember what INN stood for when we were looking at her old TCG collection. It would be awesome if we found her old INN cards/files. But since it did close earlier on, it's highly doubtful.

I want to add though, TIY (TaiInuYoukai) wasn't an Inuyasha-centric TCG. It was all animes. I managed that for a while for the owner while she was away until ultimately, she decided to take it down. If I ever find my own collection, I will be back.

    Sincerely,

    June (I was Roxy)

    • I'm glad that you guys enjoyed what you found! I had been playing tcgs since way back also, and was kind of surprised that nobody had really archived anything. Was met with some resistance at first which surprised me, but the wiki has grown quite a bit thanks to the community. :)

I'll edit the pages with the info you gave me!

  • I noticed it's still up and you said something about deleting it... did you know wikis can be merged? We did it with the Finding Carter Wiki. c:

      Loading editor
    • Oh yeah I know the old wikia is up, I just never got around to migrating all the old articles over. I had no idea they could be merged! We could try merging it tho idk if there are pages that would overlap from that one to this one, so would that be something to check for before merging?

        Loading editor
    • When a merge happens, you move what you want from the old wiki to the "new", or current wiki, and then the previous wiki is, like, deleted or something—it's basically just a redirect.

e.g. w:c:finding-carter now forwards to w:c:findingcarter, and any page people go to on the old one is basically equal to that of the w:c:findingcarter wiki, if such a page exists. c:

  • Wanderlust MB's TCG, "Hoarders", is now on a new message board, Vicarious... should I just create a page for Hoarders, which is a TCG that has been going on for a while but has constantly changed hosts over the years, so this way it has the same article location on this wiki, no matter where the TCG is physically hosted?

      Loading editor
    • Oh my god haha I didn't think I'd have questions on here! And a new page for Hoarders specifically would be fine, since Wanderlust MB was it's own community outside of the tcg too right?

Forum/MB tcgs are so hard to keep up with on hosts haha. But yeah it's fine, I don't even really track urls on tcgs when I make the pages personally since it's difficult to keep track and up to date.

        Loading editor
    • It's alright—I only just asked it. c:

But ah, yeah, it was. There, it was "stamps", which I realised soon after asking this, but Hoarders was somewhere already at one point. :p

    • Not a problem at all, and thank you so much for contributing to the wiki! It takes a bit to get the hang of, but it looks like you got it. ^_^

    • It's my pleasure! :D I'm really enjoying it. I'm gonna have to go at my own pace; just got so much stuff going on right now. Haha.

  • Hey Jamie, I added a page for a TCG, Sweet Temptation. I wasn't sure how to add it to the TCG list, though. I hope I didn't do it wrong. x_x First time ever Wiki-ing! o/

  • I seriously can't believe how up to date my wikia is. I came on here because I was bored and figured I'd have to add some things, but shoot no, you've got it covered! This wikia is super awesome, keep up the great work! <3 Becca (1)

    • Aww, thank you Becca. :D Glad to be of service! I try to keep it somewhat up to date (though I can maybe update only once a month if I'm lucky during the college semester u_u). Mostly I just sweep the new tcgs to add their info + member cards. :)

  • is there any way to make the wikia stop auto-capitalizing my name? i've done it lowercase in every tcg i've joined and when i saw my page existed i was basically combined with another hannah who capitalizes so i edited it to only include my member cards but... i still can't fix the url? does it HAVE to be capitalized after the /wiki/ part of the url or something?

    • Sadly wikia auto capitalizes the first letter in every page url, I can't do anything to change that formatting. :( I suppose since it makes it less confusing if someone types in their name capital or no they will get the right results.

In the case of there being more than one person with the same name, a directory page is placed under the name, and the pages are then named either by the person's most unique alternate nick name or with a number. You can see this page as a sample:

      http://tcg.wikia.com/wiki/Jennifer

Two Jennifers are numbered with a (1) and (2), but the third chose to use her sometimes alias and domain name, onesonicbite.

I will split you two's pages up and edit the Hannah page to become a directory page. So if you would like another unique URL, just rename the Hannah (1) page to whatever you like, and edit the Hannah directory page to list your new url.

Also sorry for the mix up. With so many people with the same names its tricky, and I usually use birthdays as a discrepency check since it's a 1 in 12 chance, but you both have the same birth month as well!

  • Hey! I was wondering if it'd be possible to change my page username to "Effy". I still play as Liza on some TCGs, but I've been joining newer ones with Effy. :p If it's too much of a hassle, it's no big deal.

  • Just letting you know the member card for Starshine isn't mine-- so there might be another Kairi out there somewhere in the TCG world, haha. I was trying to remember if I had been in it and I really don't think so.

      Loading editor
    • Thanks for letting me know! I'll split the pages up now. :) And yeah, it can be so hard to tell, especially with old tcgs!

  • There is apparently another Colleen around TCG land, because the member cards you put up for Dilly Dally and Sweet Banana aren't mine. :)

    • Yeah, I know what you mean. Colleen's my middle name, but it seemed like a decent enough alias at the time.

        Loading editor
    • I think it's a good alias, it's a name you don't see very often. That's why I ended up sticking the cards on your page, you're the only Colleen I've ever known tbh. XD
